Help fake ego-c battery
« on: September 11, 2012, 05:15:54 PM »
Hey Guys just a quick question

I bought what was suppost to be a genuine joyetech ego-c battery from a dealer in the uk
but i suspect it aint

I will try and describe it the best i can

at the very top of the battery it has a picture of a bin symbol  ce mark  and fcc mark on it.

The black material feels velvet to the touch , it has a ego-c tm logo at the base and a laser etched
logo at the bottom but whats missing is the joyetech logo which should be on the other side.
it has the five click on off feature , the button glows white and also blue. It also has a good quality finish
i thought that all genuine joyetech products had this logo on them
any help would be great.

Cheers

the above does alter though, if the genuine JoyeTech stuff is sold via TW, then their own branding is prominent.

i would have expected to have seen their Joyetech logo etched directly into the metal of the base, but aside from that it is difficult to determine accurately.

What makes it worse is that joyetech have no distributers in the uk acording to there web site.

and this uk vendor should not be advertising them as joyetech is they are knock offs considering i paid 14 quid od for it.

but looking at it seems to be very good quality for a knock off compared to my now dead ego clone battery.

I don't think they all have the word Joyetech.

The first photo you posted is a pic of the Joyetech logo etched on the bottom.

I think that some batteries - Twists, for example, don't have the Joyetech name printed on the side

If it is working fine and seems well built then don't worry mate - just vape it !
